Climbing for our Goal!
A a class I think it is very important for students to try and work together as a class to reach a goal. It feels good to accomplish something as a team and have that celebration. Things we are working on as a class is: quietly working, lining up BBB, walking in the halls quietly, earning 3 stars in our specials classes, etc. This year in Kindergarten our classroom is decorated in a jungle theme. Above you can see a picture of our class monkey and his banana tree. The idea is that the monkey starts at the bottom of the tree and when we work well as class above we are 2 spaces away from the bananas which mean we are at the top and have reached our goal. We are working on having Popsicles for our reward this time. After we have reached our goal the monkey will go back down the tree for us to work towards again of reaching the top. We will come up with as a class what we think our reward should be. This is something that you can also talk to your child about. Did your class move up the tree today? Why or why not? How can you help your class reach your goal?
